Position overview

As a Manager, you will play a key role in all parts of a client engagement. Responsibilities will include leading client engagements, diagnosing problems through qualitative and quantitative analysis, developing and testing hypotheses, and synthesizing them into a clear set of recommendations. You will be expected to review junior team members’ work and assist in developing their knowledge base. You will lead presentations, alongside other Front Health team members, to senior client management and help lead the client on implementing those recommendations. Examples of common areas where we engage with clients include value-based strategy, performance improvement in key capabilities (E.g., Employee Health Plan performance, Care Management, Pharmacy), measuring the impact of clinical interventions, and data visualization.

You will lead team members on projects in value-based care strategy and operations, statistical analysis, and data visualization, among others. Healthcare experience is required. Other key attributes include your ability to solve problems, communicate clearly, and lead change.

Based on performance and demonstrated success, this role has the potential to broaden its scope with increasingly bigger responsibilities.

Example detailed activities that you may perform:

  • Understand complex problems - big or small - and structure them into digestible pieces for understanding, solving, and enabling action
  • Conduct in depth analysis, leveraging internal and client tools/assets to provide actionable insights; where relevant, design repeatable reports/lists that enable ongoing improvement
  • Create transparency to operational and outcome metrics that ensure best in class performance
  • Lead client teams, often cross-functional, to align on a common approach and plan for any key initiatives with relevant clinical programs
  • Engage client leaders and identify other thought leaders in the industry to push our internal perspective on high performing value-based capabilities
  • Establish yourself (and Front Health) as a subject matter expert, thought partner, and peer to health care leaders to influence and drive key improvement initiatives
  • Manage the performance and growth of FH consultants and other team members as assigned.
  • Participate with FH leadership in strategic business discussions and activities to promote FH growth

Requirements

  • College Degree (BA/BS), Masters preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including high-level Excel functions
  • Embodies a resilient mindset, effectively working through challenges, and possesses—and inspires in others—a bias towards action
  • Highly proficient at structuring ambiguous business problems through sound logic, critical thinking, and the use of frameworks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the visual depiction of complex ideas in PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with, and present to, senior leadership (e.g., C-level executives)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate logic and insights into actionable recommendations
  • Thrives working in a team environment and across multiple organizations
  • Embraces Front Health culture and values (resilience, open collaboration, engaging, friendly and fun) and shows an ability and desire to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Above average proficiency in Excel-based analytics paired with an ability to identify relevant information and distill insights from large datasets
  • Experience working directly with health systems and/or healthcare providers
  • 5+ years with a management consulting firm, health system, payer, or similar experience in leading/facilitating large scale change within an organization
  • Management experience developing and leading other team members
